Hazel Theocharous is married to Aggi, with 2 young boys – James, (11) and Myles (4).    Hazel was prompted to start her own business when James just started school and realised that she needed a major shift in work/life balance.

As with most new business owners, Hazel wasn’t sure what to do and where to start.  However, she had a bonus, she had already assisted her current employers with the start up of their own businesses and realised that if she spent time piecing together where she wanted to be and what she wanted to do (and could do), perhaps she could also start up her own business.

Once decided, Hazel commenced a concierge business after discovering successful in the US and UK, but as it was fairly new to Australia, it was difficult.

After thinking hard about what else she could do, Hazel decided with 20 years admin experience, she could quite capably assist other businesses with exactly that, admin!  Hence the virtual assistance business began to hear about Hazel…

It was slow to start off, but it has given Hazel the flexibility to be available to her husband and her two beautiful boys as well as look after her clients and her business.

Now, Hazel – thanks to her wonderful business coach – sees herself as a Smart Woman who can now help other business owners realise how smart they can be too.
